Cookie Policy

This page explains what cookies and similar technologies (like browser local storage) myugcstudio uses, and how you can control them. For more on how we handle data overall, see our Privacy Policy.

1. What we currently use

We try to keep tracking minimal. Right now the site uses only strictly necessary storage:

• Authentication - when you sign in, your browser stores a session token (via Supabase / Lovable Cloud). Without this you can't stay logged in.
• Stripe - when you reach the checkout page, Stripe may set its own cookies for fraud prevention. Stripe is its own controller for those cookies.
• Preferences - small bits of local storage for things like UI state (e.g. sidebar open/closed).

Strictly necessary cookies don't require consent under UK PECR.

2. What we don't use (yet)

We are not currently running marketing pixels, ad retargeting, or third-party analytics. If we add analytics later, this page will be updated and - where required - we'll show a consent banner before any non-essential cookie is set.

3. Controlling cookies

• You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the authentication cookie will sign you out.
• You can disable Stripe's cookies via your browser, but checkout may fail.

4. Changes

If we add new cookies - especially analytics or marketing ones - we'll update this page and ask for consent where the law requires it.
